FAQ

Quick answers to the questions people ask most.

Is Persona.bio free?

Yes. Personal use is free, and that isn't changing. We're early-access today; paid options are reserved for team and organization features down the road. See the Roadmap for what those look like.

Who can see my persona?

Only people you share the link with. Today every persona is published at a friendly auto-generated URL like persona.bio/p/brave-falcon-7f3a. The page is public to anyone who has the link, but it isn't indexed or listed publicly.

You can also opt out of being findable by email in search, and you can hide your name from your persona page so visitors see a generic header.

Can I unpublish my persona?

Yes, anytime. Click "Unpublish" on your profile page and the URL stops resolving immediately. Your answers stay saved so you can republish later without redoing the work.

Can I change my URL?

Yes. The "Generate new URL" button on your profile picks a fresh adjective + noun pair. Anyone holding the old URL gets a 404 immediately, so this is also how you cut off access to people who already had your link.

Custom vanity URLs (persona.bio/p/your-name) are on the Roadmap.

Why only Google sign-in?

We launched with Google because it's the lowest-friction option for the audience we set out to serve. GitHub, Microsoft, and LinkedIn sign-in are coming. If you'd prefer one of those, let us know and we'll prioritize accordingly.

What about teams or companies?

Team accounts — including white-labeling, centralized management, and curated question sets — are on the Roadmap. If your team has a near-term need, reach out and we'll talk.

How long does setting up a persona take?

About 5 minutes for the starter set of questions. You can publish after answering as few as 5, and you can keep adding more anytime.

Can I edit answers after publishing?

Yes. Edits go live immediately. You don't have to unpublish to update.

How is this different from a resume or LinkedIn?

A resume is a hiring document. LinkedIn is a network graph. A persona is for the people you already work with — it explains how to collaborate with you, not how to hire you.

Where do I send feedback or report a bug?

feedback@persona.bio. We read every message.
